Another hour and 30 minutes until we here in South Korea bring in the New Year. I hope I'm not the only one who doesn't make goals every January 1st. Everyday I strive to become a better person, to do good, to live and enjoy my life, weather it's the New Year or not. The New Year isn't going to magically be any better, unless you want it to be, and work for it.

I still can't believe how much has passed since the last year. I reflected on everything, the good and bad, and I'm so proud of how far I've come. Last year for New Years I was in Kansas in college, I had my first New Years kiss ever - I was wearing the highest heels and I was surrounded by my amazing friends, drinking champagne and dancing. It was perfect. This year was just as perfect, even more because I was able to spend it with family in my home country. My Mother called and told my brother and I to get ready to go out to do some shopping and eat. I enjoy spontaneity and it was wonderful.

I hope everyone with resolutions see them through, and that this year will be your year - and more to come. I truly wish the best for everyone, and thank you so much for reading my blog and being a part of it. I wouldn't be hear without all you wonderful readers who I've come to know so much - and I feel like you guys are my great friends in the Blogosphere.

Happy New Years!

We went to this delicious and popular Japanese restaurant I've been eyeing for a long time - the food was mouth watering. At least I thought so - my Mom didn't enjoy her noodle dish as much - we both got Japanese Soba noodles (different types), and my brother got a sweet and spicy seafood noodle dish. I can't wait to visit this place again and try more dishes.

Some new winter knit skirts my Mom bought me - they are absolutely warm and stylish! Most of my skirts are short, so I opted for a longer more chic black skirt. Now I'm going to add all lengths to my wardrobe. I really love the grey skirt because it has gold details and it sparkles. The prices were amazing, both were around $18 - no doubt I am going back to this place.
