It's been the most coldest and most bitter week of my life. I gathered up the courage to go out and did a little shopping and hung out with Bryan - my brother. We went to a cafe that we've never been to and had delicious caramel macchiato and wine cheesecake - the place was so cozy and warm, had nice magazines and a section of things to buy were unique and crafty.

How can you not love bookstores? They've definitely become a beautiful rarity in some places. No Kindle or Nook can replace the feel or look of a book. We visited our favorite bookstore today and Bryan stocked up on art supplies - easel, small canvases, sketch books. He attends Art Academy University (in San Francisco), and right now he's spending a semester here doing his classes on-line and is going back after the summer. I can't wait to visit San Francisco myself.
