It's inevitable, when you go on a trip to not shop. Whether it is for new clothes, shoes or souvenirs, you will eventually find yourself along the popular shopping streets. San Francisco was no different and that was one of the first things I did my first day there next to visiting Chinatown. Union Square is the heart of it all; Saks 5th Avenue, Sephora, Victoria's Secret, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Forever 21, and the mall for places such as Hollister Co. and Nike. Scattered throughout the area you will find famous boutiques and high end stores like Burberry and Bvlgari. For all things souvenirs you will want to head to Chinatown and Japantown for endless shops of "I Love San Francisco" hoodies and fun trinkets. I not only appreciated Union Square for shopping, but also for the beautiful style of the buildings, and the feel I experienced while walking through. The stone designs gave everything such a classy and timeless feel. I loved the old and modern clash of everything and felt like I stepped into a mini paradise because of the palm trees.
