It's always a wonder when you look around yourself in the country you are from. It's something to be proud of -- the advancements and growth a nation can achieve. The sad thing is, a nation is never without it's trials. Today we drove around attempting to find a Buddhist temple my Mom believed to see. While it was a place of Buddha worship, it was actually a school for upcoming monks and a nice place to look around. A brief moment there we decided to head back home, but on a last minute thought, we decided to visit the burial site of the great Admiral, Yi Sun-sin. Admiral Yi Sun-sin's story is one of strength, faith, betrayal, and never giving up. His victories for South Korea are ones that has not been forgotten and never will be. History is one area that fascinates me and it would be wise to spend some time learning about what was to create what is now. The burial site was nestled between towering pine trees and soft hills followed by the footsteps of a few people enjoying the nature and taking in the sights. I may have not chosen the right time to go since everything is still brown and windy, this is a place to visit when everything blooms.
