" Every time I stand before a beautiful beach, its waves seem to whisper to me: If you choose the simple things and find joy in nature’s simple treasures, life and living need not be so hard." - Psyche Roxas-Mendoza

The strong winds, the high tides, and the overcast did nothing to take away from the beauty of Gyeongpo Beach. After being cooped up in the city surrounded by car fumes and the hustle bustle, being greeted by the shoreline and refreshing air was a treat. The water was undeniable cold, but dipping my feet into the rushing waves was satisfying enough. This is the perfect time to visit (even if you can't swim) to enjoy the quiet atmosphere before the hoards of beach goers come. This beach with it's crystal fine sand, blue waters, and unique surrounding of pine trees instead of the traditional palm trees that a beach would boast, is a perfect addition to put on your "Things to do in Korea" list."
Another popular attraction not too far from Gyeongpo Beach is the Seongyojang House.  It was as if time as stood still and we were there as it was before - everything was beautiful and well maintained. My obsession with attractions like these has no end - there's nothing more enjoyable than indulging yourself with the beautiful architecture of your countries past while learning about the history of the descendants of a royal family. This is an escape to the past - to enjoy the colors, the sight, nature, architecture, and history. I wish for all the time in the world to visit every temple, palace and other historic sites that showcases the beauty of Korea.
