This magical place is a vague memory of fuzzy flashbacks and photos, so I didn't think of it as trying to remember visiting many years before as a child, but experiencing it as a new place -- again. Not too long ago on a little family day trip, we visited a burial site for Admiral Yi Sun-sin, and today was sort of an extension of that cold but delightful day, it is a different memorial for the Admiral and located nearby. Graced with mild sun, light winds, and a clear day, this more exquisite, natural, and historic site was the main attraction of Mays first Sunday.

Surrounded by sloping hills and a variety of pine trees and bamboo trees, all the colorful flowers were in full bloom for the Spring. This is the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life of smog and technology. The beautiful landscape was featured with a temple to pray, burial sites, traditional housings, beautiful architecture and a koi fish filled pond.
