Fridays seemd to be reserved for shopping at Estee Lauder and engaging in a game of tetris with the bottles and boxes. Estee Lauder is no stranger to my blog or my makeup collection, and here are some bits and pieces from today. Much to my Moms delight, she doesn't think someone in their early 20's should head straight to Estee Lauders stand when there are more "age suitable" brands like Clinique or Smashbox on display. I still remember the day I received my first Estee Lauder eyeshadow palette; it became a lifelong commitment, and an instant connection. Why would someone give up something as comforting as their favorite sweater?
These purchases are the usual, and a new one, the Bronze Goddess item. I'm not much for bronzer during the summer because it tends to feel heavy with everything else, but why not try a screen and bronzer in one bottle? I talk about the Advanced Night Repair like a long lost lover. If you still haven't been able to get your hands on one, this weekend would be the right time to discover what all the fuss is about. Even with my cursed oily skin during the summer months, I still do not skip on moisturizers, and Estee Lauders Hydrationist line gives just the right amount of needed care at night, and also during the day time.
